Hi, I’m Zaria and I'm a junior in high school in Charles County, MD. My dream of becoming a forensic scientist began as my grandfather and I watched several episodes of NCIS: New Orleans, which became our favorite thing to do together. Once in high school, I added a Biomed class to my schedule, and that’s when I fell in love with solving investigations through science. I would love to learn more about the profession and the skills that most people don’t think about when it comes to crime-solving.

NSLC provides two summer sessions for aspiring forensic science majors (current high school students). The program is a 9-day on-campus program. At the NSLC on Forensic Science, I will have the opportunity to unravel a challenging mystery and build a body of evidence as I conduct an investigation of a crime scene with a team.
