My dog Zarco has always been a bright spot in our lives, and he’s been with us since he was a puppy—he’s now 9 years old. Recently, Zarco has been facing a very tough challenge. After being bitten by another animal, Zarco developed a severe tumor on his back leg. The tumor quickly became infected, and for the past two months, Zarco has had to wear a cone just to keep him safe. It’s been heartbreaking to watch him struggle, and now the situation has become even more serious—Zarco may need a skin graft or even an amputation to save his life.

We’ve been doing everything we can to care for Zarco, but the costs of surgery, medication, and follow-up care are overwhelming. Every day, we hope for good news, but we know that Zarco’s best chance at recovery depends on getting him the treatment he needs as soon as possible. He’s such a loving and loyal companion, and we want to give him every opportunity to heal and enjoy life again.
