The day before thanksgiving 2025 my little sister, Zara Borman, was diagnosed with T-cell lymphatic leukemia. This is an aggressive form of cancer but her young age of 13 gives her a very hopeful outlook. With proper treatment, time and support, we are hoping she will make a full recovery. Her treatment began on 12/18/25 and includes up to 9 months of intensive chemotherapy as well as continued chemo treatments for about 2 years.

Zara is in 8th grade at Ordean East middle school. Shes dreamer, she sees the good in everyone, but she won’t hesitate to put you in your place and tell it how it is. She is beyond tough and is truly the brightness when the world around feels dark. She is the kindest, smartest, most beautiful soul you may ever meet. Zara deserves a happy, healthy and long life.

Through her treatments Zara will loose her hair, this is a very very difficult and daunting fact for her, especially as she enters high school. I have a plan to make her a wig out of my hair to be able to give her that one thing in a situation that is otherwise completely out of her and anyone elses control. I hope to use some of the money raised to be able to do that for her.
