My daughter, Zanylyz Rodriguez, has always been a creative soul, but it was through acting that she truly found her voice. Although she’s naturally shy, the stage gives her the confidence to become someone bold and expressive—someone she doesn’t always feel she can be in everyday life. Her journey began with a spontaneous audition for JRP Virtual, where she had just 24 hours to prepare and perform a commercial. She passed the first round, then memorized a monologue in another 24 hours to secure a spot among the top 12. After five weeks of acting classes, she performed in a showcase and was selected as one of only six out of 35 to attend The Industry Network in Los Angeles. For her very first audition experience, this is an incredible achievement, and I couldn’t be prouder of her determination and talent.

Zanylyz’s passion for acting has not always been met with support at home, but her drive to succeed and prove herself has only grown stronger. This opportunity to compete for an agent or manager at The Industry Network could open doors for her future in the entertainment industry and help her build the confidence she needs to pursue her dreams.
