Help Zane Upgrade His Drum Kit

Howdy y'all, I'm Zane Martin! Drummer for Thomas Babiak & The 30 Rack and Bo Moore & The Back '40. I've put a pause on college to focus on my music career while I'm young, which is leading to me living paycheck to paycheck with not a lot of room to spend on equipment. Especially with the bands I'm in beginning to record music, I've noticed that I need to start thinking about upgrading my kit.

I've been playing on the same drum kit for about 2 years with the only additions being an attachment of a cowbell, block, & tambourine. I've saved enough to get stands & cables for most of the mics I have and have been gifted the mics I use from a great friend! That being said, the kit I am using is a beginner kit where the cymbals sound cheap. I also have not been able to afford cases for my hardware & drums. At the moment, I am going through bag after bag to carry my hardware around.

Lastly, as I am gaining more and more gigs at more places, the travel time from my car to where we set up is getting larger. I need a cart to help expedite the process and turn a back & forth trip, which can on average take 10-20 mins of moving equipment, to a 1 trip 5-10 mins at the most. Most of the money I've saved up thus far goes into routine maintenance of the kit such as new heads, sticks & general upkeep. Anything helps as I continue my current career in music!
