Help Zane Rebuild His Camera Gear and His Dream

Donation protected
On November 1, while on location for an independent film he’s been working on, Zane’s car was broken into. The thieves smashed his window and stole his camera bag — taking thousands of dollars’ worth of gear, including his camera and full rig.

Just a day earlier, Zane had been showing his parents the new equipment he was so excited to use. He sat on his bed reviewing his shot list, talking through the project details, and dreaming about the weekend’s shoot. That’s Zane — the kind of filmmaker whose enthusiasm fills every room, whose creativity draws people in, and whose dedication keeps him learning, growing, and creating.

When he came home early from what was supposed to be a full shoot day, everything had changed. The loss hit hard. Every piece of his setup had a story behind it — graduation, birthday, and Christmas gifts from people who believed in him, plus the tools he’d saved up to buy himself through his freelance work.

For a young filmmaker building his portfolio and trying to make his mark, this theft was devastating — not just financially, but emotionally.

We’re rallying around Zane to help him rebuild his camera kit and get back behind the lens where he belongs. Every dollar will go directly toward replacing the essential equipment he lost so he can keep pursuing the craft he loves and continue telling stories that inspire others.

Zane’s passion for filmmaking is contagious — he’s one of those people who brings others along on the journey and reminds us why creativity matters. Let’s help him continue that journey.

How the Funds Will Be Used

All donations will go directly toward replacing Zane’s stolen equipment, including:
• Camera body and rig components (the heart of his setup)
• Primary lenses for video and photo work
• Audio recording gear and essential accessories
• Protective gear bags and cases
• Memory cards, batteries, and mounts for on-site filming

The total replacement cost is easily around seven thousand dollars, and every contribution — no matter the size — helps rebuild what he’s lost and gets him one step closer to being fully equipped again.

Any amount helps, and every share makes a difference.
Thank you for helping Zane rebuild his dream and get back to creating.
