On November 19th, my brother-in-law, Zane Leabo, was in a major car accident. He was life flighted to Bend, OR.

Thursday morning he had surgery to place two pins in his hip due to breaking the socket. He also had to have hand surgery where they placed two pins in a plate in his thumb as well as a pin in his index finger. He has broken 18 of his 24 ribs. Broke his foot and broke parts of both knees. Eventually he will need surgery on one of not both knees. We are thankful that there was no major internal injuries and it is all orthopedic. He is awake, and his first words were telling Emily he loved her.

Unfortunately, that means that Zane is gonna be out of work while he’s healing. It is truly a miracle he is still here with us.

We are so thankful for the staff at St Charles Hospital and all the thoughts and prayers received. He still has a very long road of recovery ahead of him which includes intensive therapy.
