Help Zandra Take Her First Steps Again

Hi, my name is Daniela and I am fundraising for my mom Zandra, so she can walk again!

In the year 2000 my mom was a victim of a drunk driver in Los Fresnos, TX. She came out of the house and was next to the garage when a drunk driver ran over her and crashed into the garage. She lost her life and was dead for 12 minutes. The EMT's put her inside the black bag and were taking off her jewelry, my dad was next to her body praying and suddenly she started breathing. They called the helicopter and transported her to the hospital in Harlingen, TX. She was able to recover but lost both of her legs.

My mom is the strongest woman I have known!

She needs prosthetics to walk. Her prosthetics stopped working and she has been sitting for over 1 year.

Because the accident every 4-5 years she has to be changing her medical equipment. Such as, Prosthetics, Scooter, handicap van ramp...etc.

(Side note: Which also, her ramp of the van stopped working and need to buy a new one and her personal scooter is braking apart).

I reached out to different foundations to see who can help her with her prosthetics and only one foundation (50 legs Foundation) responded and its located in Florida.

They want to gift her the prosthetics to walk again! (HUGE BLESSING)

They told us that they need us for 2 weeks because of the medical procedures.

We need to fundraise $1,500 at least for food, a handicap rental vehicle for 2 weeks and other expenses. It will be a blessing if you can help us out

Hola, mi nombre es Daniela y estoy recaudando fondos para mi mamá Zandra, ¡para qué pueda volver a caminar!

En el año 2000 mi mamá fue víctima de un conductor ebrio en Los Fresnos, TX. Salió de la casa y estaba a lado del garaje cuando un conductor ebrio la atropelló y se estrelló contra el garaje. Ella perdió la vida y estuvo muerta durante 12 minutos. Los paramédicos la metieron dentro de la bolsa negra y le estaban quitando las joyas, mi papá estaba al lado de su cuerpo orando y de repente ella comenzó a respirar. Llamaron al helicóptero y la transportaron al hospital en Harlingen, TX. Pudo recuperarse pero perdió ambas piernas.

¡Mi mamá es la mujer más fuerte que he conocido!

Necesita prótesis para caminar. Sus prótesis dejaron de funcionar y lleva más de 1 año sentada.

Debido al accidente, cada 4-5 años tiene que cambiar su equipo médico. Tales como prótesis, scooters, rampas para furgonetas para discapacitados...etc.

(Nota al margen: además, la rampa de su camioneta dejó de funcionar y necesita comprar una nueva rampa y su scooter personal se está deshaciendo).

Me comuniqué con diferentes fundaciones para ver quién podía ayudarla con sus prótesis y solo una fundación (Fundación 50 piernas) respondió y está ubicada en Florida.

¡Quieren regalarle las prótesis para volver a caminar! (ENORME BENDICIÓN)

Nos dijeron que nos necesitan por 2 semanas debido a los procedimientos médicos.

Necesitamos recaudar fondos por lo menos $1,500 para comida, un vehículo de alquiler para discapacitados durante 2 semanas y otros gastos.
