Help Zander Recover After Emergency Surgery
Hi everyone,
This is really hard for us to share, but we’re reaching out for support after an unexpected and scary situation with our puppy, Zander.
Zander is only 9 months old, and a few days ago he suddenly stopped eating and drinking and became very lethargic. We knew something wasn’t right, so we rushed him to the emergency vet. After X-rays, they discovered he had an intestinal foreign body and needed immediate surgery.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful and they were able to remove the obstruction. Zander is now home and beginning the recovery process, and we are so relieved that he is going to be okay.
Unfortunately, the emergency vet visit and surgery came with an unexpected bill of about $5,000. While we would do this again without hesitation to save him, the cost is more than we’re able to manage on our own right now.
If you feel called to help in any way — whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or sending healing thoughts for Zander — we would be incredibly grateful. Truly, even kindness and support mean more than words right now.
Thank you for taking the time to read Zander’s story and for being part of a compassionate community
With gratitude,
The Conrad family
