Hi, I’m Zamira Rodriguez — daughter of Colombia, passionate about people, animals, and serving those whose voices go unheard.

Right now, Córdoba, Colombia is facing a devastating humanitarian crisis after unprecedented flooding triggered by weeks of intense rainfall. Persistent heavy rains caused rivers — especially the Sinú River — to overflow, sweeping through neighborhoods, destroying homes, and displacing families who have lost everything they owned. Entire communities have been submerged, fields and livestock ruined, basic infrastructure damaged, and tens of thousands of people left without access to food, clean water, beds, medicine, or hygiene supplies. The scale of this emergency is severe, with over 150,000 people affected and thousands of homes destroyed or uninhabitable.

I will be traveling to Tierra Alta — a red zone area in Córdoba where people are the most isolated from city resources and hardest hit by these floods. It is a region with severely limited access to emergency aid due to distance, damaged roads, and a lack of infrastructure — meaning help often comes too late or not at all.

With the support of a registered and licensed humanitarian organization (FDH), I will personally purchase and distribute:

✨ Mattresses and bedding

✨ Medicine and first aid supplies

✨ Hygiene kits for families in need

Importantly, 20% of all funds will go toward food and medicine for animals, because in disasters like this, pets and livestock suffer too.

We have trucks, boats, and people ready to deliver. All we need is resources.
