Our beautiful girl Zali has recently been diagnosed with a mast cell tumour. At this stage, we don’t know whether the cancer has spread.

She urgently requires further blood tests, diagnostics, surgery, and grading of the tumour to determine the extent of the disease and the best course of treatment moving forward.

We’ve been advised that the tumour needs to be removed as soon as possible to reduce the risk of it spreading and causing a severe reaction, including an anaphylactic seizure.

As difficult as it is to ask for help, we are facing significant veterinary expenses at a challenging time, having welcomed our beautiful baby into the world just 8 weeks ago, I have only just begun maternity leave with another 10 months before I return to work. While we will do everything we can for Zali, the costs associated with her treatment are overwhelming.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards Zali’s blood tests, surgery, diagnostics, and ongoing treatment. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Zali’s story would mean just as much.

Anyone who knows Zali knows just how special she is. She’s the sweetest little Staffy, full of love, cuddles, and personality, with just the right amount of Staffy sass. She is one of three cherished dogs in our family and means the absolute world to us.
