Zaleigh is my 12-year-old daughter, and she was recently selected among a few students to travel from our home in Louisiana to Washington DC. This is an incredible opportunity for her to see and learn so much in person—something that goes far beyond what she can experience in her hometown. At this age, when so much is changing in her life, I truly believe that seeing the world outside of Louisiana will help her grow, learn, and gain confidence.

Zaleigh is an all As student in her seventh grade year. She’s a dedicated member of the Lady Falcons softball team, takes dance classes with Mrs. Dawn at Dawn's Dance Academy, and attends Westside Emanuel Baptist Church. She’s smart, kind, and beautiful, and I want to do everything I can to support her dreams. This trip is a chance for her to broaden her horizons and experience new things that will shape her future.
