Help Zaki: A Fathers battle against a Rare Cancer

This GoFundMe is set up to help my little brother fight a very rare and potentially aggressive form of cancer near the bladder in the urachal remnant, called Urachal Cancer. Zaki is loving husband and father of three beautiful children aged 3, 4 and 6.

Zaki was officially diagnosed a few weeks ago, but has been out of work for a month dealing with symptoms and waiting for results. The symptoms are very unpleasant but he's doing his best to not have it affect his children. He is in contact with BC Cancer and is undergoing further assessment and awaiting his official treatment plan, but is expecting surgery and possibly chemotherapy.

Zaki worked on a contract basis and as a result currently has no income coming in. The money in this campaign will go towards covering living expenses and unexpected additional expenses for him and his family as they work towards beating this terrible illness. If you know Zaki you know he is a sweetheart who is kind-hearted and values his family and children more than anything.

**Update - Much to our sadness Zaki was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer last Wednesday (March 26th). He was informed by his oncologist that it was an not curable form of cancer that has spread. However there are some treatments and they will attempt their best to fight it as well as they can. He will have a port inserted tomorrow and will start chemo therapy next week. As a result of this information I will be increasing our fundraiser goal. Zaki will be unable to return to work. The additional funds will go towards him, his family living expense, additional treatment supports and medical costs.

We spent the weekend with him for Eid ul Fitr and he showed unbelievable strength and love. Please pray for my little bro and support in anyway you can so we can hold off this cancer as long as we can. May Allah SWT reward you all for your support.
