My name is Zakaiya and I’m currently an acting student at the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, at Howard University. Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt called to the world of film and storytelling. Acting is more than a career path for me—it’s a way to honor writers, bring stories to life, and serve as a vessel for voices that need to be heard. I feel truly blessed to pursue my passion at a school with such a rich legacy.

The tuition costs exceeded my ability to pay for last springs tuition. My financial aid was not properly applied and the options for payment plans were not suitable. Now I’m facing potential collections and at this time I am unable to register for Fall classes.

I’m reaching out for help because I need to pay my tuition before August 25th to continue my studies.
