I am Zaidan Naeem, 17 years old, born in 2009, from Beit Hanoun, the northernmost city in the Gaza Strip, during this war of extermination Forced to leave my city, I left Beit Hanoun on October 8, 2023, along with my family. The war, with its death and fear of loss, tore us apart . My family consists of ten members ‍❤️‍‍❤️‍. I am the youngest and the breadwinner for my family My older brother, who is 21 years old, is injured and unable to move. He was hit by two tank bullets in the joint area and has undergone several surgeries. He needs many more, including a total joint replacement and nerve grafting,,,My sisters are girls who cannot work in these harsh conditions and war. Before the genocide, I was a school student, learning and living my life normally,,,Just as they deprived me of my education for two years, I became without education, shelter, or work, searching for our daily sustenance through food aid. The Israeli occupation completely demolished my city, destroyed my home, and destroyed my future and my dreams, My family and I became homeless; we have no shelter and no income. I was displaced several times within the Gaza Strip, then forced to flee to Jabalia camp for a week, and then to southern Gaza. Initially, I was displaced to Nuseirat, then to Rafah, where I lived for eight months, before being forced to flee again to the outskirts of Khan Younis, my family and I. Every time we were forced to flee, we left behind our few belongings—mattresses and clothes—to escape a swift death and start over, struggling to survive and return to life. The war of extermination has taken everything from us, robbing us of the warmth of home, safety, and loved ones. It has stolen my studies, my pregnancy, and my future...
