Help Zack and Sydni Build Their Home

Sydni and I have been trying for the past few years to finally get to a place of stability but life has been hitting us hard over and over. As soon as we have enough saved up to try to give my mom peace and move to our own place something happens that depletes our savings.

Most recently Sydni fell ill and was admitted to the hospital for over a week due to a severe reaction to a newly prescribed medication. Besides the stay in the hospital, she missed work for over a month. I also had to miss work to take care of her and our children. I had just started my job 4 months prior and therefore was not eligible for FMLA and was let go for missing too many days. Both of our savings were depleted just trying to keep up with bills and everyday life. This was heartbreaking for both of us as we were so close to finally having a place to call our own.

On top of that we are down one vehicle with no hope of being able to repair it anytime soon. And now our family vehicle is in need of a power steering pressure pump replacement, an alignment, and the electrical system is going out. Sydni lives in fear on my daily commute that it too will no longer run, she will lose her job and our ability to currently survive.

At the moment our 5 children sleep on 2 air mattresses in the living room of Sydni’s mother's house.

We so desperately want to break the cycle of poverty for our brilliant children. To give them a life that they deserve but no matter how hard we try, we can't get out of the hole we're stuck in continuously. We hate that it has come to this point of feeling like we're begging and it's honestly very embarrassing that we have failed. Sydni has her boys full-time and receive no child support. I also due to unforeseen circumstances now have my children full-time with no support. Any help at all would so greatly appreciated. Even just sharing our page means the world.
