I am a quadriplegic living with CRPS and muscular dystrophy, and my life has been turned upside down after my power wheelchair was stolen and destroyed by someone in my previous apartment building. The chair was essential for my mobility, but now I have no way to get around. Since then, I've been forced to use a hospital chair that isn't meant for independent use, and it's causing me to lose strength and suffer frequent falls. My spinal injury is getting worse, and I was recently hospitalized because my condition is deteriorating so quickly.

On top of this, I'm facing eviction. I simply don't have the funds to cover my rent for June. My mom, my two cats, and I have fought so hard to finally have a safe place to live, but we're at risk of losing it all. The hospital chair is making my disease worse, and every day I feel weaker and more scared. I need a new power chair to regain my independence and quality of life, and I need help to keep our apartment so we aren't left homeless.
