Zach was driving his first owned car back from Ventura around lunch time on New Year’s Eve. He had been working many jobs and just saved up enough money for his first car that he bought a few days before. He was on the freeway, when his tire popped and he crashed into a cement center divider and totaled his car. His car then lit on fire and he was only able to escape by using his elbow to break the glass window in his car. He was then taken by ambulance to the hospital where the found that he had a punctured lung, broken ankle, deep cut down to his knee joint, an injured hip, and was covered in deep cuts and bad bruises. He had surgery on the night of New Years Eve, that was successful for his ankle and knee. The next morning they found that his punctured lung was getting worse and are currently working on putting a chest tube in.
20 year old Zach lives on his own, pays his own rent, pays for everything himself, works for a moving company, and just saved enough money to buy himself his first car. He won’t be able to work for months and will have the expenses of these extreme medical bills as well as rent and other bills he is held responsible for.
Any donation will help him be able to cover these costs and help him focus on recovering.
