Help Us Get Our Short Film Into Festivals (and Actually Get There!)

Hey everyone,

We’re raising funds to submit our short film to a series of film festivals across Florida and beyond. After months of writing, filming, and editing — and a lot of late nights and caffeine — the film is finally ready. Now we’re ready to share it. That’s where you come in.

Submitting to film festivals is just the first step — and each one comes with its own entry fee. But beyond that, we also need help covering travel, lodging, and food costs so we can actually attend the festivals if we’re selected. Being there in person means networking with other filmmakers, attending Q&As, and making sure this film has its best shot at finding an audience.

Breakdown of the Budget:

️ Festival Submission Fees – $307
(Covering 9 festivals including Miami, Key West, Slamdance, Fort Lauderdale, etc.)

Travel & Lodging (for 2 people) – Approx. $700

• Gas/transportation between cities

• Affordable lodging (shared rooms, Airbnb, or hotels)

• Food & incidentals

Total Fundraising Goal: $1,000

Whether it’s $5, $50, or just a share of this page, anything helps and means the world to us. We’re doing everything we can to stretch our budget and make every dollar count. If we raise more than our goal, it will go directly toward promoting the film and covering additional festival opportunities.
