For as long as I can remember, I've struggled to find my way. Lately, things have been especially tough—I've been unemployed for months, searching for a job and trying to stay hopeful. One of the biggest challenges I face is transportation. My car keeps breaking down or needs repairs, and without it, it's nearly impossible to get to job interviews or jobs that aren't close by.

I'm doing everything I can to turn things around, including starting a social media page to create new opportunities for myself. Another big hurdle is not having a reliable computer, which makes it difficult to research jobs, fill out applications, and learn new skills. On top of all this, my mother has a rare autoimmune disease, and between her doctor bills and rent, it's been hard for us to make ends meet. Every day feels like an uphill battle, and I know that with a little help, I could finally get back on my feet and help take care of my mother.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward car repairs and a computer, so I can get to interviews, research opportunities, and pursue work.
