Help Zach Build a Unique Indoor Bike Track

UPDATE: 3-7-2025. We have many of the track boards painted up and some good funding coming in, time is an issue between work but progress continues, lets ride!

UPDATE: 3-2-2025. The work is going great, we are compacting the dirt, prepping the boards and clearing out the site, the rain is slowing things down a bit but at least most of the track area is fully covered

5-16-2025. My regular work slowing me down now but the track is progressing, we have discovered a method of hardening sand to use as an under-layer, this saves mucho money and allows for banked-corners and very smooth track eventually. We have already run preliminary track and it is about 15 seconds per lap at 50% power on the bikes.

A major part of this fundraiser is that the bike you see in the main picture was stolen a year ago from my property. It was my premiere machine, took 6 moths to build by hand and was going to be integral to my track idea, so you are helping me recover from that loss with your donations, there is a reward for that bike as well if you see it anywhere!

Hi I'm Zach from Nipomo Ca. I have run a Window/ Blind Cleaning co. for the last 35 years. I started life as a full-time outdoor artist on glass and then became an inventor before I started my co. I have invented many things but my passion is athletics motion and speed so I created these amazing 4-wheel lowrider quad-cycles. These are the closest thing you can get to a human-powered go-kart! These bikes feel like an F1 car, they corner on rails, stop on a dime and accelerate like a rocket, no joke they are truly amazing but you can also just cruise in them they are very comfortable and smooth and they are the safest bike to go fast in, you cannot flip them or fall out.

I have recently found a very cool spot to build a CUSTOM INDOOR TRACK to ride them on, a custom track built exactly for these bikes.

I have ridden a million-miles on public ground, churches, schools, parking lots but nowhere in public will you find extreme features like whoops, cambers, angled-corners and tight-tunnels to ride on, all of these things are a negative for walking paths and open areas but for my bikes it's a dream so it has to be custom-made. I will have ramps as high as 12 ft tall to ride over similar to a roller coaster. The track will have timing equipment to record lap times and other fun features.

At my track I will also have custom features to help older riders get in and out of the bikes because let's face it, these things are flat on the ground and not easy to get out of.

You may ask, why not use existing skate parks or BMX pump-tracks to ride on? The answer is that those sites are very specifically built to match those inventions, my bikes will high-center on most of the features at those tracks and there is some dangerous features there as well, like falling into a skate-pool! Yikes!

This will be a private free track for my donors and friends but it is not cheap to build, aside from the labor the material is expensive. This fund-page is going up right when I personally have a break in my normal workload, at this time of the year my business is slow and I can construct it, in the summer I get too busy and tired to do much after work. but not too tired to ride fast bikes!! ;]

So please pitch-in and help me cover the cost so I can get it up and running then you can come ride the bikes or just chill trackside enjoying the energy that comes from positive projects like this.

I will be creating unique structures that eventually can be used on larger tracks outdoors or in other facilities, this is just the start of the dream.

If you have any questions about my ability to do what I am saying i have built over 20 prototype bicycles, ridden these quads over 10k miles and built multiple theatre production sets nearly as big as this track, I have also washed the largest buildings in SLO county with a crew and 85ft boom cranes...I do big projects all the time ;]
