This fundraiser is for Zach and Lizzie Villalobos, my daughter and son-in-law. They are faced with mounting financial pressure due to Zach's hospitalization and projected 30-day in-patient extensive physical therapy rehab. They will be responsible for all medical expenses incurred because they do not have any medical insurance coverage.

Zach was injured in a motorcycle accident Friday evening in Gilbert, requiring ambulance transport to a Level 1 Trauma Center and admission into the ICU for care. The accident was a result of someone in a vehicle turning in front of him, and he was unable to stop. He suffered a shattered right kidney, fractured foot, fractured hand, and internal injuries.

The hospital expenses so far are close to $100,000 and will rise significantly over the next 30 days.

Zach works with special needs adults and will not be able to work for approximately 3-4 months. He also will not be collecting a paycheck during this time, which will result in a serious financial burden to their monthly budget.
