Our beloved friend Zac was involved in a hit-and-run accident a couple of days ago while he was in Thailand. He was seriously injured by a car and is currently in a hospital there. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery with time and rehabilitation.

Zac is a kind and wonderful person who brings joy to our lives. We are heartbroken by this accident and want to do everything we can to support him and his family during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, these medical bills are not covered by insurance, which means the financial burden is significant. We aim to alleviate some of that stress so Zac and his family can focus on his healing, recovery, and getting him home.

Our goal is to raise £12,000 to help them with the following:

1. **Medical Bills**: While he is not in critical condition, Zac needs to remain in the hospital for at least two weeks for recovery. Several procedures are required for his injuries, and the costs are quickly adding up.

2. **Living Expenses**: While Zac is recovering, he will incur ongoing expenses such as rent, utilities, and groceries.

3. **Loss of Income**: As many of you know, Zac is self-employed and works as a gardener. Due to his injuries in the hip, leg, and shoulder, he will be unable to work while he heals and undergoes physiotherapy.

4. **Travel Back to the UK**: Zac was supposed to return home the day after his accident, so all arrangements for getting him back once he recovers will have to be rebooked and paid for.

Every contribution, no matter large or small, will greatly impact Zac’s recovery and future after the accident.
