My name is Lori Ferris. On September 30th my very healthy 29-year-old nephew, Zac Harmon, had a seizure. On October 7th he was having a craniotomy to remove a brain mass. On October 21st he met with an oncologist who shared the devastating news that Mayo confirmed the preliminary results, showing a high-grade glioma – a fast growing malignant brain tumor. In this short three weeks his life has been turned upside down.

Zac is a hardworking electrician and loving father of a 22-month-old little girl, Blakely. He plans to be married next year to his fiancé, Jenna Weatherman. As he now faces very aggressive cancer treatment the future holds a different plan for Zac, but he is a fighter. Amid this tragic news his only concern is how he is going to care for Blakely and his family.

I am reaching out to everyone asking for prayers for Zac and his family. A GoFundMe account has been set up in his name to help cover expenses during his treatment. As he is faced with many uncertainties, his selfless love for his family and determination to fight this cancer are unwavering. My hope is that funds can be raised so Zac can focus his energy on beating this cancer and not worrying about how his bills are going to get paid.
