Help Zachary O'keefe Fight Stage 3 Melanoma and Support His Family

Zac was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma. The cancer has spread to both lymph nodes, and his doctors are working quickly to get ahead of it. Surgery isn’t possible right now — first, they need to shrink the tumor through treatments.

Starting Monday, Zac will begin his first round of treatments: four sessions, followed by an evaluation to see if the tumor is small enough for surgery. If not, he will continue treatment until it’s safe to operate. His care team is being very proactive, even ordering a brain MRI to ensure the cancer hasn’t spread — thankfully, there’s no indication it has, but they want to be sure.

Zac is a loving husband and a father of four wonderful kids. He is the primary provider for his family, and although his wife also works, the medical costs, travel expenses, and missed work will create a significant financial burden.
