Dear community, I am an 11th grader at WAHS and have been nominated to represent my school at NYLF Buisness Innovation in CT. By attending NYLF Business Innovation, I will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential leadership program. This program is 8 days long, taking place at Yale University. Attending this program willl allow me to further my interest in Culinary Arts, and reach my career goals of becoming a resturanteuor/chef. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA, while attending both high school, the local community college(LCCC), and LCTI at the same time. Imagine if you have been given this opportunity for a life changing experience when you were in school and were unable to attend due to a lack of funding. My participation in this program depends on whether I can raise the 5-thousand dollars needed to attend in July.
