Help Yvonne with Medical & Rehab Expenses

Yvonne Cress is a Kootenai County Deputy and Navy Veteran. For those of you who know Yvonne, she puts great passion into her law enforcement career as well as being a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and dear friend to all the lives she touches. She is a shining example of faith and perseverance in the face of adversity and she expresses gratitude even in the midst of hardship.

Yvonne has been on maternity leave since giving birth to a daughter several months ago. She was getting close to having to return to work when she suffered a stroke on July 30th, which left her with severe impairments, including partial paralyzation on her right side, short term memory loss and difficulty speaking. At 35 years old, she has a long road ahead of her and many challenges: her health, healthcare, housing, finances, caring for a new baby while undergoing rehab and numerous other obstacles. Her loving husband, Dan, runs his own business and has stood by her side through this traumatic event and thus is not earning his usual income. Yvonne will soon be out of vacation and sick leave and is unable to return to work at this time. Their family will be facing some extreme financial difficulties, along with everything else, on their long road ahead.

Yvonne has only asked for prayers. However, on the hard road ahead of them, they are going to need financial support. Our goal is to help the Cress family with one less worry by offering some financial assistance to help them get back on their feet.
