Hi everyone, as you can see from my picture, I am a person who loves life and even though I have been in treatment for cancer, I still live life to the fullest. That is why I am asking for help to raise the money needed for me to go to Misty Mountain Retreat in NSW, to undertake treatments that I believe will help me on on my journey back to wellness.
In January of this year I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. 1st of February I commence chemotherapy and immunology six rounds to prepare my body for a stem cell transplant. I have always been a believer in natural medicine but as this had gone from being anaemia to cancer within less then a year I decided on the medical route to start. I am now 55 days post transplant and I am beginning my alternative course of treatment for the cancer. I am following a new dietary plan coupled with continued exercise, rest and various modality to support me through this. The doctors have said there is no cure but it is treatable As most who have gone through chemo will tell you the side effects are worse then the cancer. Even though I am very grateful to the staff at Townsville Oncology and Haematology for there outstanding support, I am wanting to take my recovery into my own hands. Misty Mountains will not only provide the alternative treatments I desire, I will also learn how to eat, sleep and live in away that will continue to support me not just physically but mentally and spiritually. I am grateful for any donations that can be given.
The funds raised will pay for transport, food and accommodation and treatments which are valued $5000.
I truly appreciate your time to reading my story and thanks again.
