Help Yvonne Marie Ferguson Recover in Mexico

Please help!

My sweet mother, Yvonne Marie Ferguson, is facing a challenging and urgent medical situation in Mexico. While visiting, she suffered a terrible fall, breaking her hip and femur. She is now alone in a Mexican hospital after my sister and her kids had to return to the U.S. for school and medical reasons.

The hospital required $14,000 upfront, along with a $700 ambulance ride, before they would even begin treatment. This wiped out my mother’s savings and checking account entirely. The surgery has been performed, but we do not yet know the full invoice for her care. Payment must be made in full before she can leave the hospital.

After her discharge, she will thankfully have a safe place to recover, thanks to Kathy and Judy Blexrude. However, there will still be significant costs for her to fly home, future rehabilitation, and possibly another surgery in Minnesota.

I’ve already personally paid $3,500 to reduce her credit card debt, but we need help to cover these mounting expenses. I may also need to fly down to care for her, and last-minute flights are close to $1,000.

Every dollar counts, and even $10 can make a difference if we all come together.
