The past few weeks have been an intense time for us. 
As many know, mom is being treated for a tumor that was discovered in her stomach. It is benign but quickly growing so removal is necessary. The surgery for it is scheduled on the 23rd of this month.
In the midst of dealing with this, she had a breast biopsy just to be safe, as she has 2 small growths.
Last week we got the news that the biopsy came back positive and she in fact has breast cancer... This news has been quite a shock and we were not prepared at all. She has been out of work for over a month and the procedures/ treatments/ medications are quite costly, even with insurance. I am organizing this fundraiser to try and ease the burden on mom and dad.
