Per my mother's request, I waited until after the holiday season but now I need to share her story:
On December 21st, my mother's apartment was burned down due to lack of electrical care and faulty wiring. Thankfully, she is healthy, alive and well but everything of hers was lost- four days before Christmas.... 2020.
My mother is the most resilient and hardest-working person I know. She is a nurse at a nursing home and has been a superhero for dozens of people during this pandemic. Everything I am is because of the love and lessons that she has poured into me. She thought that asking for help during an already difficult year may have been met with deaf ears but now, as her son, I am asking you to please help her out in anyway you can.
