Several years ago I was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease that has evolved in a critical kidney failure. Since last December I started doing dialysis.  During this time due to high blood pressure associated with kidney failure I had blood inside my eyes and lost a high percentage of my sight. At the moment we were able to stop the bleeding using eye shots and laser treatment, but I have now reached the point in which my only option to stay alive is a transplant. If I don't get a transplant my survival probabilities in five years are only 40% and it goes down from there. Thanks be to God we have found somebody who's willing and able (she is compatible with me) to donate me a kidney. Although I have insurance, the expenses for my treatments have accumulated in the last year and with surgery and later recovery coming up in December 19, the medical costs are expected to rise considerably. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated and will sum up to cover at least for part of the expenses. The hospitalization time is projected to be at least one month, with several trips to Houston afterwards.
