My name is Yumsea! I’m a 2 year old British short hair boy living in Toronto, Canada.

My favourite things to do is nap on top of the fridge, look out the window, and chase my favourite fish toy.

Over the past weekend, my mom rushed me to the emergency since I was not able to pee. The doctors identified that I had an urethral obstruction and inserted an urethral catheter to relieve the pressure on my bladder. After multiple times of flushing out my bladder, the doctors were unable to get me to pee. As a last resort, I will require PU surgery to make me more like a female cat so Im able to pee.

It has been financially tight for my mom as she works in hospitality and there have been so many lockdowns in Canada due to COVID. My medical bill is already at around 4k and the initial doctor estimate may double that amount. My mom is scrambling to pull together all the savings she has to fund my surgery, but any small amount of support would mean the world to her and me.

I came into my mom’s life shortly after she moved from Vietnam to Canada by herself a couple years ago. I have been her constant companion, her biggest cheerleader, and the spark of joy in her life.

I am currently still in hospital case, but the doctor will be able to better access the next steps for me in the coming days.
