Help Yum Yum’s Pizza after devastating fire

On the morning of January 31, 2022 my father, Gerhard Gaiser, was running an errand and returned back to Yum Yum’s pizza shop to find the fire department frantically trying to control a blaze. Thick black smoke was pouring out of the building. I know he must have been in such a state of shock as he just stood helplessly watching it burn.

When the firefighters finally had it out and we were able to enter, the devastating sight was almost too much for my father to bear. He just stood and sobbed. It was beyond saving.

Yum Yum’s Pizza is my father’s pride and joy. He started this business over 10 years ago and has loved every second of it. He is a staple in the community, always going above and beyond to really connect with people and extend a helping hand when he can. He has instilled in his children such a profound work ethic with his loyalty and dedication to his business so that one day he might pass it on to us. That’s one more reason why this is hitting so hard. I know my father is too proud to make a fundraiser but we, his children, are asking for help during this time. This is his livelihood and we are filled with fear and anxiety wondering how he will make it through. We appreciate all of the prayers and support we have received this far. It means so much.
