Help Yuli Fight Mental Illness

Hi, my name is Yuli. I am many things – mother to 6 beautiful boys (the youngest is 7), esthetician & medical provider @Chill Cryotherapy and most recently – a person finally addressing long term physical and mental health issues. I have suffered with mental illness for years: anxiety, depression and eating disorders which have slowly destroyed my digestive system and left me with crippling acute and chronic pain. Many of my friends and clients know that recently I have been afflicted with physical manifestations of my mental illness – severe and debilitating pain in my stomach, esophagus and throat. The physical problem has been hard to identify but finally doctors have finally recognized the source – my long term eating disorder from age 13 has left my digestive tract severely damaged. I have been unable to work or take care of my children due to the severe pain and have just now taken the necessary steps to heal, both physically and mentally. I am currently in an in-patient facility (Robert Wood Johnson) with assisted feeding (I was diagnosed as malnourished due to the damage to my digestive tract) and mental health interventions. I will remain here for at least one month – the time needed to heal my body finally and allow me to eat and drink normally. 

 

I am not used to asking for help – I am usually the person helping, But during my hospitalization I have no means to support myself or my children.
