Hi my name is Radostina and I am fundraising for our dear friend Julio (Yuilian Petrov) who is fighting pancreatic carcinoma.

Julio was diagnosed with cancer in September 2023 at age of 41. He lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria (our home country) but unfortunately he didn't receive any adequate treatment until now. After two heavy therapies, on 24 January 2024 the scanner showed new lesions in the liver. The doctors said to his mom that there is no point to continue the treatment...

The hope came from a hospital in Turkey who could propose an adequate but extremely EXPENSIVE treatment.

His state deteriorated on 13 March 2024 and he was urgently transmitted to the John Hopkins Anadolu Hospital in Turkey. This hospital offers more adequate and life-saving URGENT treatment for Julio but the price is unbearable for his family - every day of stay in the emergency clinic costs 1 500 euros and the total price for the cancer treatment will be between 50 000 and 150 000 euros depending on the ongoing examinations and analyses.

Julio is the most positive and good person I know. He loves life and wants to live. When he received the diagnosis and the doctor's prognostic that only 30% of the people with it survive, he answered that he will be part of these 30%. Let's help him!

Julio is one of my husband's best friends from his childhood. Since the day I met him, more than 20 years ago I felt like he was my childhood friend too, I immediately saw his kindness and positivism. Julio has always been a wonderful friend, son and brother, and now it is time for us to show him how much we love him and care.
