Hi, I’m Nina. The cat in the photo is Yuki, he is my baby boy. You may know us from Twitter, @yuki__kitti.

I’ve been looking for a place to rent for the past 2.5 months but I’m a student, I don’t have a job, and I have a pet. This combination isn’t favourable for many property applications in Melbourne, VIC. This is the reason why I setup this fundraiser in the first place, to cover boarding costs for Yuki so he can have a safe shelter while I continue to look for a new home. The funds from then will be used for this cause if it comes to it. 

Now, I’ve heard from agencies saying that I do not have enough funds on my bank account to be considered for application. I need at least $3000 more, ideally $5000.

Hopefully, we can find a home soon and won’t have to use the money entirely. The money we won’t be using will be donated to another fundraiser of our Twitter family’s choosing.
