A month and a half ago, my work unexpectedly cut off my hours. While I’m still technically in their system, I haven’t received any income since then. Because of this, I’m unable to qualify for unemployment, and I’m facing rent and bills with no steady support. I’ve been actively searching for another job, but so far, I’ve had little to no luck. As someone with Autism, I find it difficult to navigate every requirement when it comes to finding another job. This situation has left me feeling anxious and uncertain, as I try to figure out how to keep up with my basic needs.
