Help Yuki See A Neurologist
Donation protected
Hi there my name is Robin, I’m a Toronto tattoo artist. My cat Yuki needs to see a Neurologist and possibly receive an MRI.
She’s a very sweet and funny little girl who wants nothing more than snacks, cuddles and fuzzy blankets.
Yuki very recently started showing very worrying signs of neurological issues and we need to get her to a specialist, possibly for an MRI. We want to make sure she isn’t in pain and that she doesn’t have a brain tumor. She has episodes that last 2-4 minutes where she’s extremely disoriented, falling over, seizing up/freezing, zoning out, has no balance and is very confused. Sometimes she meows for help which is heart-breaking because she sounds so scared. It sounds like she’s saying “Mom, what’s going on?”
-I’m rarely the type of ask for help, and NEVER the type to ask for money, but for Yuki I will absolutely set my pride aside for her wellbeing and ask for donations.
For some context;
-I’m currently also trying to financially recover from travelling for and paying for my mom’s funeral less than two months ago(I’m currently applying for the CPP death benefit for burial assistance, and still can’t afford a headstone yet),
-all of this on top years of therapy bills for c-ptsd, and also on top of only just getting back on my feet last year after dealing with a lot of physical health troubles of my own from 2021-2024.
As we all know, the economy lately has very badly affected the tattoo community, business is slow even for artists with huge followings, and so in general the last few years have been overwhelmingly tough.
I’ve been given the rough estimates for the MRI and Neurologist Consultation. I’m waiting to hear back from Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital for a date to book.
•Consultation: $275
•MRI test: $2500 - $3500
*This is my first time doing a GoFundMe, and it only just occurred to me, what do I do if there’s any funds left over after Yuki’s MRI; I’ll be putting any extra funds toward some monthly injections of Solensia for her joints as her shoulder has been bugging her, and donating to a local rescue or animal shelter. If anyone has any shelter/rescue recommendations to donate to, message me on Instagram!

To Keep Updated on Yuki; I’ll be posting on my Instagram story, and I also made a highlight on there too!
Sharing this helps, any donations will help, even small ones. Also sharing my work is appreciated as it may help to drum up some business.
Thank you for your time and for anything you can afford to give.
