Hello, everyone!
This is Yueun, I was born in South Korea and moved to America with my violin in 2013. I came to this beautiful country, so far from parents, to pursue my dream to become a great musician and inspire the world. Upon my arrival, I started my studies at the University of Southern California with world-renowned violinist Midori Goto.
During my first year at USC, I won the USC Bach Competition and the Concerto Competition and also became the concertmaster of the USC Thornton Symphony Orchestra.
At the start of my venture into the international music scene, I was honored to be selected from among the top young artists around the world to participate in some of the most prestigious competitions in existence such as the Michael Hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand, the International Violin Competition in Buenos Aires and the Singapore international violin competition.
I was always passionate about chamber music as well and participated in many fantastic chamber music festivals in the US. Among them, I was humbled to get special attention from world famous violinist Itzhak Perlman, who invited me to his chamber music festival in New York.
I’ve been working hard, playing concerts and teaching in America. Since my graduation, I’ve been able to stay and work in the US thanks to an Artist Visa (O-1). This visa is delivered to ‘aliens with extraordinary ability in the field of Arts’. It is now time to jump the big step and apply for Green Card to become a permanent resident of USA!
The costs to apply to the Green Card that would enable me to live my dream in this country, performing and teaching as a classical violinist, are impossible to sustain without some help. This is why I’m reaching out to you. But also I thought I could create something fun rather than just asking for your help, so we can ride this adventure together!

$20 or more: A personalized thank you card and a signed Polaroid from Yueun!
$100 or more: I will make a music video of your favorite song. (Any kind! It doesn’t need to be classical music. I know how to groove, too!)
$200 or more: Have one Violin lesson with Yueun! (About one hour and half, We can do Skype Lesson!)
$400 or more: Have three lessons with Yueun! (One hour each, Skype lesson possible!)
$500 or more: Have four lessons with Yueun! (One hour each, Skype lesson possible!)
$1,000 or more: I will come to play a house concert for your guests. (If you live within 50 miles of Los Angeles)
$2,000 or more: I will fly anywhere in the States to play a concert for you. (If you are an amateur musician, we can play together. Flight over $300 will need support.)
$3,000 or more: I will fly anywhere around the world to play a concert! (If you are an amateur musician, we can collaborate together. Flight over $500 will need support.)
Green Card application cost is broken down as follows:
$7,500 Attorney fee / $2000 Application fee / $1000 copies, and other related costs/expenses TOTAL; $ 11,500

: There are many ways to apply for Green Card and I’m applying for the one called EB-1. This visa is granted to those with extraordinary ability in their field which has been demonstrated by sustained national or international acclaim and whose achievements have been recognized in the field through extensive documentation.
My Green Card application has total 622 pages including 10 recommendation letters from the venerable artists, over 60 concerts programs, 24 articles and interviews from America, Korea, China and Chile and 8 Awards that I have received from all over the world!
