Hello Friends and Family,

As I've been living in Bali, Indonesia, I have come across so many wonderful humans that are in need of a little help. In Bali, the starting salary for service workers is around 3,100,000 IDR ($190 USD). Many work extra jobs or drive scooter taxis to make extra money. Some work 12-15 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. Needless to say, the Balinese are the most kind and warm-hearted humans I have met in many years of traveling the world.

I will be starting monthly mini fundraisers to help deserving people I have met while living here in Indonesia. I look forward to bringing you along for the journey and sharing the stories of these beautiful souls as we help them with a little kindness.

For the month of July 2025, we have a special young man named Yudi from Ubud, Bali. I met Yudi while staying at a guesthouse in Ubud, and he was working so hard to care for the 6-room property all by himself. I asked him about his family and work, and he mentioned his dream to someday work on a cruise ship with his uncle.

In Bali, there is an agency called Bali Stars College - Hotel and Cruise Line Training Center. They train, prepare, and place workers for hospitality positions across the world. Unfortunately, Yudi is struggling to save money for the tuition, which is around $500. He has been helping his parents with home repair, and as you can imagine, it's hard to save $500 when you only make $190/month. The next training course starts on August 7th, 2025, and I want to bring you on this "micro-giving journey" as we surprise Yudi by paying for his tuition at Bali Stars College and presenting him with his enrollment letter.

A little bit goes a long way in Bali, and your love and support for this young man is greatly appreciated. If you can't give this month, don't worry. There will be more opportunities to give each month.

I'm sure it goes without saying, but 100% of the proceeds will be directly forwarded to pay for the school tuition, and any additional funds will be presented to assist with flights and travel for Yudi to start working.
