Help Youssef (Yo) Sirrieh after tragic accident

The Story

Youssef Sirrieh (most know him as Yo) was involved in a tragic accident this week when he was struck head on by a drunk driver. He suffered severe injury to the vertebrae in his spine, hip, and a hand that will require reconstructive surgery.



The Cause 

Yo owns his a business "Yo's Detailing." Unfortunately, he will be off work and unable to provide financially for his family during months of recovery.

It would be amazing to come together as a community for Yo and the entire Sirrieh family to help alleviate expenses while he recuperates.

Donations will be paid directly to Yo and Susan, and used for living expenses, groceries, and bills during the difficult medical rehabilitation. 


About Yo

Yo is both a family man and active member of the community. He is well known in the local baseball and softball communities. For roughly 5 years, Yo served as a coach, board member, and sponsor for Northwest Little League. He has been incremental to the league's growth.  It would be great to offer support in return. We pride ourselves in being a community and my hope is that we will demonstrate our sense of community for 'Coach Yo' and his family.

Involvement between volunteering and children's participation extends to the Northwest Outlaws, Bandits, and Vipers programs also. Additionally, children participate in other sports programs like basketball through the park district, football and competitive cheer so you've likely seen his friendly face around the fields and courts. 

If you aren't involved in sports, you've possibly used Yo's Detailing or heard that he's a highly popular, and well-rated car detailer that serves residents of Elgin, Pingree Grove, and Hampshire. 


How You can Help

Yo did not expect to survive the accident when the car slammed into him at 60mph. He is grateful to be alive. If you drink, do so responsibly. Please don't drink and drive.

Donations will help the Sirrieh family ensure they can pay for their home, bills, and food during Yo's recovery. Even a small amount is impactful and appreciated.
