Help Yousef & His Family Evacuate

Bridget Kushner, a close friend and advocate for the Al-Ghalayini family, is raising funds to help them escape the ongoing conflict in Gaza and rebuild their lives. She has been managing their account and, after thorough vetting, has decided to share their story with the world to seek support.

Youssef Mazen Al-Ghalayini, a 21-year-old student in his final year of Business Administration, narrates the plight of his family, which consists of six members: his father Mazen (51), his mother Lima (48), his brother Muhammad (26), his sister Dana (24), and Dana's husband, Muhammad Alaa Mushtaha (24). The family had been living a peaceful life in Gaza, but everything changed on October 7th when their home and dreams were destroyed by the war. Forced to flee multiple times, they now live far from their home, which is no longer habitable.

The Al-Ghalayini family has lost their livelihood, with Youssef's father no longer able to work in the aluminum industry. Their only hope of safety is to evacuate to Egypt via the Rafah land crossing, which costs $5,000 or more per person. Additionally, the family needs funds for flight expenses, food, and living essentials.

The funds raised will be used to cover these costs, helping the family escape danger and lay the groundwork for a new life. A trusted family member in Egypt will help manage the funds and ensure they are used for the intended purpose.
