Help 2 young Palestinians build their lives
Donation protected
Welcome all to my fundraising page ! My name is Zinab- 30yo French woman living in London- but this isn't about me here and I need your help.
To keep it short, I am helping two young Palestinians crying for help while trying to survive the recent bombings in Gaza.
B**** is 25 years old (**). His first reply to me when I asked him if he was okay was "I am tired of the killing and destruction". Even on our worst days, this is not a response we would give to someone asking how we are doing. His left arm is broken and needs surgery, however he would need to go to Jordan if he wants to get it done as this is not currently possible in Gaza. He doesn't have the funds neither for the surgery nor for the travel to Jordan. He told me he can't see a future and no one cares and understands his pain. "I hope to die and not remain in pain and suffering" were his words. Little does he know a lot of people like us actually do.
Fedaa is 20 years old. She is from a family where no one works. She is not able to study as she cannot pay for tuition fees. No work is available in her area, therefore her dad does not work. Her brothers are too young to look for jobs or find a way to earn money. No breadwinner in the family, daily life is difficult and a real struggle- several days and weeks can pass by with no money or food. The first time I financially helped her, she rushed to buy food as soon as she received the funds. But I cannot help her alone.
Talking about the future is not something they can afford doing. All that's in their mind day after day is wondering how they will make it to tomorrow. I would like them to keep faith and hope. I would like to give them the opportunity to stop worrying and think about themselves for just once. I would like B*** to get his surgery and Fedaa to help her family and be able to save a little for her education.
Most importantly, I would like them to keep believing in life and in people.
Their days are not over. As long as they are alive and people seeing them, there is hope and possibility for them to change their life. Big changes start with the smallest things. And that could be a penny.
Half of the donations will go to B*** and half to Fedaa and her family.
Please do not hesitate to share, every single penny counts.
Thank you so much in advance for your donations! I'd be beyond grateful for the support. The world truly needs more kindness.
(**) I respected B***'s wish to remain anonymous on this page
