Help young Myles through his cancer treatment

As some of you may remember I ran a half marathon for a little boy named Devin Hoy 2 years ago. He was one of my bestest friends. His personality was something special and his smile alone could make your whole day. It breaks my heart we lost Devin at just 3 years old last March.

To honor Devin I wanted to help raise money for a charity that I believed Devin would of loved to support but I recently come across a story I’ve been following about a young 2 year old boy called Myles that has a very rare cancer (Neuroblastoma) and has just completed 70 days of chemo.

Devin shared a lot of the same interests in toys and movies that I see Myles does so I believe Devin would love to help this young boy with the money raised.

Unfortunately Myles’s latest scans have revealed that removing the tumor would be life threatening as it is entangled in critical blood vessels meaning the tumor will have to stay inside him. He will have to complete additional rounds of high dose chemo within the hospital. His home is over 100 miles away and the hospital is not allowing accommodation for his mum. Myles’s parents either have to travel 100+ miles to see him on a daily basis or have to pay out of pocket for a hotel that is nearby the hospital.

I’m hoping to raise some money for this extremely brave boy and his family so they are able to stay by his side while he continues to fight through this extremely difficult time.
