Donation protected
Jake is an 11 year old Ice Hockey Netminder whose goal is to become a full time Professional and represent Great Britain at the 2034/2038 Winter Olympics.

Jake resides in Great Wakering in Essex and started playing the sport at 5 years old. Shortly after starting, he began winning numerous awards at specific training camps for his skill, focus, dedication and attitude.

Jake now trains at the Peterborough Phantoms Junior Academy. Jake’s training includes sessions with the club’s Professional netminder as well as team training. Jake travels across the country playing league games for the Phantoms Academy under 14 team as their starting goaltender.

Last year Jake was selected to attend trials for the England under 11 National team programme. The trials are held in Sheffield or the Olympic Park in London. After each trial successful participants are selected to the next stage.

After numerous rounds Jake was selected to represent England, and he led the team out against Scotland in May 2024.

Following his success in Scotland Jake was asked to attend the selection process for the England under 12 National team.

Following another successful selection, Jake travelled alone to Slovakia in January 2025 for further International experience.

Jake was then asked to attend a single trial with Elite British Selects which comprises of players from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Following another successful trial Jake will be travelling to Riga, Latvia in early April 2025 to compete in the prestigious Riga Cup which is Europes largest AAA tournament with 300 teams competing.

Jake will then fly directly into Helsinki, Finland to be the starting goaltender for another selected team to compete in the AAA Lions Cup.

At both these events scouts from Professional teams will be in attendance.

England will be starting their selection for the under 13’s National team this summer, they will be competing at the world’s largest junior tournament in Quebec, Canada in February 2026, again multiple scouts from Professional teams will be in attendance.

Away from the ice rink, Jake is highly active and has always participates in multiple sports, this is what has led him to be such a dynamic, explosive and powerful young athlete.

Jake attends gymnastics, disciplined martial arts, bootcamps and private fitness sessions plus participating in most other recreational sports such as tennis, swimming, climbing etc.

At a young age it is essential that Jake is not involved in ice hockey 24/7/365 and is allowed to be a normal child, having fun with his friends, socialising, attending skate parks, youth clubs and all kinds of other important life skill activities.

HISTORY
Jake began playing at 5 1/2 after watching a professional game whilst in America. He trains around 80% less compared to his peers due to the sport’s heavy financial requirements. Jake’s unique skill set has been recognised by many senior level pro coaches and players worldwide.

PROFESSIONAL & 2034/2038 OLYMPIC DREAMS
