Hello! We’re a group of young filmmakers attending Emerson College, creating a pilot for a mini series, about three 30 min episodes. We’re looking for your help in funding our independent project 3-Step Program.

LOG-LINE:
After he gets the opportunity of a lifetime, a drug-addicted boxer (Malcom) enters an exclusive but covert program that claims to have the power to rid him of his affliction completely.

It’s like Guy Richie’s “Snatch” meets Patrick Somerville “Maniac.”

WHY THIS STORY IS IMPORTANT
“I grew up in two different backgrounds. One was well-off and the other lived with my mom, struggling financially. Peering into two different backgrounds, I’ve seen drug abuse occur and what I found is that no matter how rich or poor a person, it’s always perceived to be their fault.”

“This limited series doesn’t just explore what it means to have the vice of addiction. It also revolves around the fact that it’s seen as a disease but isn’t treated like one. It’s viewed as a choice.”
-Marcus Yves Joseph (Director & Writer)

WHAT IS THIS FUNDING FOR:
This series is grounded in a world of science fiction in an experimental medical facility. Much of our funding is devoted to creating this world through production design, wardrobe, and locations acquisitions. Mainly setting up medical settings using props, outfits, and accessories fitting these locations. We also require funds for transportation and food to support cast and crew. Finally we hope to submit to local film festivals which require cover fees for submission.

FINAL WORDS:
To those who a willing donate it would mean the world to be able to finally film a story we’ve worked so hard on, and with your help we’d turn into a reality. It’s a work of passion and dedication to our craft that takes a team and we hope you’re able to be apart our vision. We’re so close and funding is the final key to make this possible.
Big thanks from your producers
