Marlo's Rees' Pieces

We are the family of Marlo Messina Rees and are raising funds to assist with the care of her 2 young sons, Strider (14) and Brittain (11) Rees. Marlo died tragically on Friday, March 10, 2023. This fund will benefit Strider, Brittain, and, their grandmother, Kathryn Brittain (affectionately named "Guppy" by the Rees boys), to help care for these sweet boys. The magnitude of loss the boys have experienced in recent years is devastating. In addition to suddenly losing their mom, they also lost their father 5 years ago. In 2016 their beloved Uncle, Anthony Messina, also died. This fundraiser will help provide financial resources their parents can no longer provide. Dear, sweet, devoted Kathryn has now lost two children and raising her two grandchildren.

Besides the heartache, they will have very real expenses ranging from clothing, school supplies, medical/emotional support and extra-curricular activities, to planning for future college funds.

We haven't even begun to mourn the loss of Marlo. Her sudden death has left us bewildered. We appreciate your love and support during this difficult time. We all loved Marlo and miss her gorgeous smile, wild sense of humor and love for her boys; her "Rees' Pieces."
