I'm Eyad Elbalawi form Belgium, and I'm trying to help Doaa to get out of the war. and this is her story

"My name is Doaa Elfarani "Um Ahmed" I'm 26 years old. I’m a young mother to one baby boy Ahmed, one year old, who was born in the middle of a devastating war. His first cries were drowned out by the sound of explosions.

Before the war, we lived a modest but stable life. My husband "Ghassan Elfarani" worked hard to support us with dignity. But everything changed when the war began. Our house was completely destroyed in an airstrike, and since then, we’ve been displaced, moving from place to place just trying to survive.

My husband lost his job due to the destruction of his workplace and has been unable to find work since. With no stable income, it has become nearly impossible to provide even the most basic needs—food, diapers, medicine. Ahmed is still a baby and requires special care and proper nutrition. We’re doing our best, but we’re struggling.

I’m not asking for much—just the chance to give my son a safe and healthy start in life. I want to be able to feed him, care for him, and give him warmth—not apologies because we have nothing left.
