Help Youcef travel back home.

My name is Britney and I was Youcef's kindergarten teacher. While he was in 1st grade, he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called DIPG. The doctors said it was inoperable but that he could do some treatment to help prolong his life with as best quality as possible. He has been receiving treatments for several months and is still the most positive and happy child I have ever met.

It is heartbreaking to hear about Youcef's diagnosis, and I understand how difficult it must be for his family to manage the financial and emotional burden of his illness. Youcef's family is from Algeria and would like to travel back home to be with family, as they have none here. In order to do so, they will need to pay for 6 plane tickets and medical expenses along the way. This is a huge expense for them and I am hoping our community can help them.

His teachers, Mrs. Chang, Mrs. Hutson, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Amadou and myself, hope that by donating to Youcef's family, we can help ease some of the financial strain and make their travels back home a smoother transition. We all stand with Youcef and his family during this difficult time and send them love and support.
